About Travelista Club

Travelista Club started in 2016 as a home for travellers to share the places they loved: the hike that was worth the early start, the town nobody mentions, the street stall you go back to three nights running. Between 2016 and 2020, thousands of travellers wrote guides here, each one about a single place.

The site went quiet for a few years. It is back now with every guide at its original address, so the links people shared still work, organised the way you plan a trip: by country and city.

Who writes the guides

Every guide is written by the traveller named on it, with their photos. Their name, photo and a short bio sit on each guide, and each writer has a page with everything they wrote. Most guides were written between 2016 and 2020, so check opening times and prices before you go.

How the site is paid for

Places have a “Where to stay” box that links to Hostelworld. If you book through it we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. That money keeps the site online. The guides were written independently and are not paid placements. Read the affiliate disclosure.
